Three influential and high-profile wine personalities from the Old World have been lined up to make a feature of flavour in a collaborative series of masterclasses involving five normally competing New World wine producers: Argentina, California, Chile, New Zealand and South Africa.
Nine top judges from nine different countries gathered in Santiago this week to assess Chile’s finest wines, and of the 17 Trophies they awarded, 11 of them were for wines from Chile’s much-lauded cooler climate regions of Limarí, Elqui, San Antonio, Casablanca and Bío Bío.
Landmark Code constitutes one of the key pillars towards achieving goals set in Wines of Chile’s 2020 Strategic Plan.
